ARMED FORCES BREWING COMPANY is seeking an experienced, creative, and multi-platform technically savvy Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating dynamic content and executing that content across all our social media platforms as well as implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and brand awareness and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with our Marketing and Sales departments and our outside strategic digital media and marketing Partners.

Job Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy on all platforms
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Create, manage, and execute cool social media content both still imagery and video
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools
  • Attend educational and Military conferences
  • Work with copywriters and graphic designers to ensure our content is Militarily authentic, informative, and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Hire and train others on the team
  • Present creative content ideas and strategies to Senior Management

Your Background:

  • 4 years of US Military Service
  • Must demonstrate profound knowledge of “Mil-Speak”, Military culture, Military weapons of war, Military traditions, Military events, and Military history
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and proficiency of Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google, YouTube, Rumble and other social media platforms and best practices and analytics
  • Experience using photo/design software, video editing tools, and smart phone apps
  • A 24/7 creative mind that is committed to creating cool social media content
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience in conducting audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • A warped sense of humor like the rest of us and a love of beer
